Commission for Big Hill CiderWorks in Gardners, PA.
I designed the sculpture in 3D modeling software, then referenced the images and measurements to create a carving. I began with a 24" chainsaw, then moved to a 16", then to a 12" dime tip.
I like to use the die grinder and the angle grinder, then chisel and sand.
Fire is applied to add color and texture.
